Our purpose has always been simple: We want you to sleep better at night. So not only do we make sheets and bedding that are decadently comfortable, we also manufacture them in ethical, socially-responsible, and eco-friendly ways that you can feel good about.

Making the world a better place, one dream at a time? That’s our idea of beauty sleep.

Decades in the making

To make premium quality bedsheets without the use of harmful chemicals and in a human- and earth-friendly fashion, we’d have to reinvent the textile process from start to finish.

Decades in the Making

Good things take time, and we’re okay with that. With decades of textile expertise and manufacturing best practices as our foundation, we set out to reimagine the way sheets are made more than fifteen years ago. We wanted to marry our modern sustainability standards with the classic, crisp feel of the linens from our childhood. You know the kind: soft, smooth-textured sheets that feel fresh and stay cool throughout the night. Like the ones you wish you could take home with you after a super comfortable night’s sleep at grandma’s.

With decades of textile expertise and manufacturing best practices as our foundation, we set out to reimagine the way sheets are made more than fifteen years ago.

Several months and tests later, we realized we wanted more than what typical manufacturing processes had to offer. It turns out grandma was right—they just don’t make them like they used to. To make premium quality bedsheets without the use of harmful chemicals and in a human- and earth-friendly fashion, we’d have to reinvent the textile process from start to finish.

So that’s exactly what we did.

Thoughtfully Held to the Highest Standards

Our approach combines timeless techniques with sustainable modern practices that result in better sheets and better conditions for those who make them.

We are woman-owned and 100% staffed by working moms who work from the comfort of home all across the world. We partner with a manufacturer in India that is also women-owned, and our production provides all manufacturing employees with access to free onsite medical care and school.

To ensure our products are safe for both consumers and the environment, we voluntarily adhere to Oeko-Tex’s certification standards. We've been proud to be Oeko-Tex certified since 1992, but we won’t stop there. We use wind-power and recycled rainwater to reduce our carbon footprint, and we support more than 5000 US farms by using only 100% US Supima cotton. Our sheets come solely in two colors—ivory and white—to eliminate the use of harmful chemicals associated with colored sheets. And from the very beginning, we decided to embrace wrinkles, because anti-wrinkle treatments involve problematic ingredients like formaldehyde.

Our commitment to quality means we never take anything for granted. Once a year, our manufacturing partner breaks down her entire floor and reassembles the looming floor to meet our exacting standards. This ensures our sheets are woven into an ultra-smooth, tight Percale-pattern weave that gives them their signature fresh and airy feel. Because our bedsheets are made in small batches and finished by hand, once they run out, they’re not available until the next year. The process takes time, but the quality lasts even longer.
